Rise of the phoenix- a fathers story
My children are such a treasure to me, there is no finer gift in life than your children, that’s why my kids come first in my life. I have so many fond memories of them, as they grew and went through school, on holiday and outings. My children give me so much joy, sometimes tears and can be a worry. I have photographs, films and even have their voices on tape, to remember special moments. A father has a special bond with his children that cannot be compared to anything else, only a father can explain it, you have to be a father to truly know how it feels. Being there at the birth, seeing your child for the first time and saying he or she is mine and nobody else’s. A feeling of ecstasy comes over you like nothing you can compare in life, there is no greater love in life or at least I have never found it.
This is why I found it difficult when my wife and I seperated and she got involved with a much younger man. One who was living with my children and getting involved with their lives. I felt as if my role was being took over by him, my children had someone to be with and it wasnt me. what a thing to have to live with and my ex wife showing off too, having a boyfriend 10 years younger than herself with a car.
